Jasmine buds produce a gentle, soothing tea when infused with hot water. Jasmine is said to improve digestion and maintain a healthy liver function. They can also be used as garnish in G&T's and in cake decorations. Contrary to expectations these buds have very little scent as the components responsible for the overpowering scent of fresh flowers is extremely volatile and quickly dissipates.
